Hi There,

I am currently building a project car ('67 Pontiac Firebird w/Pontiac 400) and was hoping to apply some current technology to it.

In particular, I'm curious about Cylinder Deactivation, but do not want to move away from a Pontiac engine block.

Has anyone heard rumors of a Cylinder Deactivation for Pontiac V8s?

Guessing this is a long shot, since it may not be possible to adapt the valve train for this need. But, never hurts to ask...

Thanks!

Why would you want to do that. The engine is balanced to run on eight cylinders.
