OK now I'm pissed. I hear some people are complaining about the hotel choice. Well, if ya don't like the hotel I picked then ya can find your own damned hotel, and I won't give a rats ass. The least ya'll could have done was talked to me about it instead of talking behind my back about it.

Whoa, Jack. I sure hope this isn't the warm "Southern Hospitality" I always hear so much about! :)
Most of the feedback I have heard is this kinda stuff...
http://travel.yahoo.com/p-reviews-385488-prod-hotel-action-read-ratings_and_reviews-i;_ylt=AsQATPd8sfnA3ZFtkQwqK1jiphQB#8
But to give them the benefit of the doubt, these reviews are 2-3 years old. Could be they cleaned up their act...maybe? Obviously I haven't seen the place in person, and maybe you have?
I plan on bringing a sleeping bag anyway so I can have some sort of familiar (guaranteed clean) bedding to sleep in. So honestly if it isn't spic & span, I won't lose sleep about it while I'm there, unless some critters carry me out the 2" gap under the door! ;)
So don't take it so personally, we know you were trying to help by finding a place. If you stayed there and recommended it after the fact, I could understand you being offended. But from what I understand, you recommended the motel based on it's location, not your experience. If that's the place to have to stay at to be in a good location, then so be it, I'll live. But to be on the safe side, I'll probably pack my Smith & Wesson combination rodent/varment/vermin repellent tool into my utility belt!

Jack, and the rest of you guys. Obviously something I said to one person has gotten blown out of proportion as things usually do in here. I checked with the Princess motel  to make a reservation and was told they were booked up. I went to the online sevice to check there and was informed the same thing. While in the online service, my wife and I read the reviews. We had to make reservations at another motel  down the street from the Princess and in the process read the reviews for it also.  Now , with all that being said, I mentioned the fact that the one I reserved at had much better reviews, which made my wife happy. As my wife and haven't had a vacation in 10 years, I thought a bit nicer motel was  a big plus for us. Now that's more info than you guys need to have and I have already spoken to JAck on the phone and told him how this started and explained my situation to him COMPLETELY. I think it's a real shame that something so innocent could be made out to be more of an issue than it truly is.

Again Jack, I  appologize for this getting so far out of hand. Just didn't want to bother you while you were vacationing so I didn't call you first like I should have.

Now that I've calmed down quite a bit, I'll rewrite this episode. First I want to apologize for my outburst, as I haven't been taking my meds correctly since getting home. Second, yes I did recommend the Princess on location basis ONLY. Third, if you want to change your reservations then the Americruise inn is avasilable (I think). I myself have been so preoccupied that I forgot to make my own reservation at the Princess so will have to find a different hotel myself, but seeing how I live there that won't be a problem. And Lastly, I sincerely hope none of this ruins anyones long awaited vacations. I'll be waiting for everyone aat the Princess on Friday to welcome ya'll to the Hills of Tennessee, and the first annual Southern Iron run in the Hills. Again please accept my apology for my outburst.

Glad you were able to chill out, good buddy! This meet is supposed to be for fun you know. Just make sure you take your meds that weekend too. And after reading your last post, I made sure to put my protective cup on my list of things to pack...just in case! ;)

JAck , I see no reason for you to apologize. Like I said, things got blown out of  proportion.

Uh, should we be looking for a guy in a mask or a guy with a Harley tattoo on his head?(big grin),just kidding. Looking forward to seeing you again and meeting the other guys. For everone attending , have a safe trip!

Sounds like a great time... even if it was in the back of Nitro's trailer. I was looking forward to going ( without a nice car, just a bike ) but am going to be out of town for work the 13th, 14th. Have a blast you guys and yes, please take lots of pictures. I'll put something up on the website with pics if someone or a bunch of people can write up the highlights of their time, describe what's in the pictures, etc.

It would be great to meet you guys in the real world.

Hey Givrcrap (evil grin) (I was gonna say Givrscum, but I didn't know if you'd take it as an offense or a compliment), not everyone is taking their effin' Honda's. Besides, I don't have one anyway!
I'm not taking my 69 for two good reasons:
A) it sucks gas, and
2) it isn't an every-kind-of-weather type of car.
I will be driving my 91 Camaro down thar though. And look ma no hands....the wipers even work! ;)
And not to worry, we'll rip on you plenty!!!

Hey Giv, I'll be there and I'll be drivin my effin Honda!!! That is unless you want to write a check out for the $1250 to rebuild my transmission in the T-bird. I had money set back for the gas, but now it has to go towards the rebuild. If my car was on the road, it WOULD be in TN. I guarantee it!

And don't worry, I promise we will be talkin smack about ya (whether you're there or not).

I regreat to inform you all that you will not get to see my pretty face over fathers day weekend and thats really ashame. I was planning on being there on thursday and staying through sunday. But as it always goes something stops me from enjoying life like work. I have some serious plant issues that will be happening at that time that will prevent me from leaving thursday or friday and by then it will be too late to enjoy anything if i left for tennesse saturday. So i guess for now you all enjoy it and don't rub it in too much when its over.

Dont forget to have a real big group hug for the pictures and magazine.
