I found that the print was a little blurry with the fine print! Other than that I like it so so! My computer is an older one, but it probably would be better on a newer computer!

It was fun to play with, but maybe I'm just sayin that cause I'm a guy!! LOL I liked the way you could zoom in and get closer to a picture or an article but I couldn't find anyway of centering in on what it was I was trying to read. But then again I'm not much of a computer person so there's probably a way I'm not aware of. The clarity was real good, I liked that.

The pictures were even better than in the print magazine and it was a great way scan the articles and to move from page to page with so little effort. I like it a great deal

Looks and works pretty well. Must be a lot of work, considering the number of links in the ads, etc.... The only detractor would be if you're on an airline flight with no internet connection. A print periodical is about the only way to go then.

E-editions of Street Machine (and Handy Man) will get my highest rating...IF members can receive one printed copy of any particular issue. There are a few articles in fewer issues that I would like to receive in the full printed magazine format (not printed on my printer, etc.) AND provisions to search past issues is incorporated. Too often I look for an article going through several issues. Also, some shiny pages look good in my work area.

Hey, this really looks like a COOL Idea here. the thing that BITES for me is I have a slow connection and it really took a long time to load anything up . I have a Wild Blue Satellite connection and have the slow package for 55 bucks per month which at best is 10 times faster then Dial up 512 KB down load,,, it normally runs about 6 times faster then dial up speed . Sure wish I had DSL or Cable. but Stuck in the Sticks here not close enough to town to get anything else.. It would be nice if at the very beginning on the main page if it had option such as what kind of connection you have such as Dial up or Insane high speed or someplace in the middle .. With Dial up you would still see everything but it would not be as crisp as far as pictures but as long as you could still read stuff you would be ok . I am sure all the pictures are taking all the time to down load. Maybe you could still have the option to click a certain picture to down load the rest of it to make it nice and clear…. This is just a thought. I just bought a New PC. It’s really fast so that is not it at all. This PC is even water Cooled / well anyway. she Screams for just PC work and High end graphics and games and so forth. If I played them... but anyway. Just my thoughts ,, For me it is still nice to just sit back in the Chair in the Garage or the easy chair in the house after a day wrenching in the garage and turn page by page . Don’t get my wrong on this all ,, Its just I wish I had a faster internet connection is all . Have a good one. And keep the Rubber side down, Remember ,,, Today is the First day of the rest of your Life .

Very Kool, I really like the zoom and it's all clear on my laptop. The links in the ad's work great too, you can't do that in the Mag's. If we can download to a disc or memory stick then I don't have to listen to my wife complain about me saving all the old Mag's. Life Member Tom, Cottekill NY

I feal I am looking at the near future. Being a old fart with dial up out here in the sticks I still prefer my paper magazine. I see great things with this but is new and very slow with dialup. Maybe some day dsl will be availble here. I am lucky the wife loves the car (1970 CUDA ) so she does not complain about what goes with being a car freak.

I like it! One suggestion - when zoomed in on an article allow the use of the scroll wheel on the mouse in addition to the drag method. If the size of the zoom is one page width and you do verticle scrolling it would be very easy to read. I'd take the "E" version in leiu of the hard copy as long as I can print out the articles I want to reference while working.

All the content was there, but it was very slow and the controls are spread out and hard to use. I am a computer/tech guy & web designer, so I have the latest & fastest everything. Check out how Dupont Registry does their online Auto Magazine for better examples.

It's amazing that all of the comments here are from member's with 5 month's or less in the CLUB. If you have a computer in your garage, or prefer to sit in the house to read a magazine. I myself would rather have a magazine that I can look at right in the shop. If it has something in it I want to use, I don't want to be printing it. I have magazine's from Hot Rod, Super Chevy, Car Craft, and Mopar Magazine's going back into the 1960's when it really started to hit the fan. Those were the days when you really got information from the top builders, and competition was unreal! I cruised the main drag in San Bernardino, CA in the mid 60's, and played in Mullhullan Drive above L.A. Those are day's I'll never forget, and growing up with the real muscle car's was living the dream. I've owned one of every muscle car Chrysler built between 1964 and 1974. Boy, getting rid of some of those, I should have been shot for. But in those days, we changed car's on a whim. Just because we could. A real hard copy magazine will let you sit down later in life and rember those days. Letting all that slip through your finger's on a computer, is something you will all regret someday. The only reason, they want to try this, is because, if they can put the magazine on the computer, it will save them a bundle in printing and postage costs. One of your benefit's as Life Member's, remember? Also, what about the Postman that deliver's the mail? No mail, no job for the Postman..... If you look at Our Club, you will find it is one of many owned by a larger Corporation, which also own's the Motorcycle Club as well as the Handyman Club of America, along with several others. Don't for one minute kid yourselve's into thinking you are one of a special few. This is a Good Club, but it is nothing like the Car Club's of the 60's and 70's. Heck, my club even got kicked out of Yellowstone Nat'l Park in WY, for hill climbing off road! Only three member's had TRUCK'S, LOL. So, in the end remember, the more on the computer, the more Money for the Corporation's. The more on the computer, the less people needed, so less jobs, more people out of work. That's what I think, but then after 40 year's in the Marine's and the Army, what do I know? Rubber on the Ground, unless it's a RailRoad Crossing, and the only substitute for CU. IN. is CU. BUCKS.

This would be great instead of good if I had a 20" moniter. Like others have said , small print hard to see. This is great since I no longer receive a hard copy in the mail, but that is another story.
